Spinx Co. enters the food truck business

The Spinx Co. is launching the Cluk Truk with a tour of some Spinx locations for the rest of the summer and bookings at other locations and events starting this fall, according to a news release.

The menu incudes chicken tenders (original and spicy), Buffalo chicken snack wraps, chicken tender sliders, chicken tender sandwiches, coleslaw, french fries and beverages.

“We are so excited to offer a new and enjoyable way to serve the Upstate community,” Stewart Spinks, founder and chairman of the Greenville-based company, said in the release. “This has been a longtime dream in the making, and we believe that it will provide a unique way to introduce our legendary fried chicken to even more people across the state.”

The Spinx Co. has 84 convenience stores in South Carolina and about 1,400 employees.
