Choate expands RPM Warehouse at Charleston Trade Center

- Expanded truck court with 36 trailer spaces and offices
Choate Construction Company and RPM Warehouse have partnered in the groundbreaking of RPM’s Charleston Trade Center business park expansion.
Choate originally constructed the facility through a design-build partnership and led the expansion for RPM’s coffee bean and storage distribution operations, according to a news release.
“This expansion represents more than just square footage — it’s a continuation of a trusted relationship built on collaboration, precision, and shared vision,” Tim McIntosh, vice president and division manager for Choate in Charleston, said in the release. “We’re honored to support RPM’s growth and help bring this next phase of their operations to life.”
The expanded facility has a bulk-receiving pit, silo storage and coffee processing equipment from Germany. According to the release, the space also includes three drive-in doors, eight new dock positions, an extended truck court with 36 more trailer parking spaces and 1,084-square-feet of office space.
