Huntington Bank has named executives for the Carolinas as it continues to expand in the Southeast.
Huntington has appointed Heath Campbell as executive managing director, middle market banking for the Southeast, and Trent Holland as regional president for North and South Carolina.
A Huntington spokesperson said Campbell has played a pivotal role in its success in the Carolinas as it have continued to deepen its presence and investment in the region, and he brings a wealth of leadership experience and expertise in middle-market banking to his expanded role.
Holland, who most recently served as senior managing director of middle market banking in South Carolina, has also been a significant contributor to our success in the Carolinas and brings a strong track record of leadership and client engagement to his new role, the spokesperson said. As regional president for North and South Carolina, he will be responsible for delivering Huntington’s highly differentiated regional banking model, providing strategic leadership to all market teams and driving the growth of business and community relationships throughout the Carolinas.
These appointments will further position Huntington to support our growth and advance its vision to become the country’s leading people-first, customer-centered bank, the spokesman said. Additionally, these appointments reflect Huntington’s continued commitment to growing and investing in the Southeast and Carolinas, which is home to its regional headquarters in Charlotte.
Huntington’s Charlotte market continues to be led by Rai Glover, who joined Huntington in 2023 as its first market president for Charlotte. A distinguished executive, Glover brings more than 30 years of financial services expertise to her role, including positions at Bank of America and Truist Bank, the spokesman said.
