An Atlanta-based assurance, tax, consulting and advisory services firm has expanded into the Upstate with a merger.
Mauldin & Jenkins has expanded into the Greenville market by merging in Bradshaw, Gordon & Clinkscales LLC, an established CPA firm serving businesses and individuals in the Upstate area, according to a news release. The merger will be effective June 1.
“This strategic partnership aligns with our mission to offer comprehensive accounting and advisory solutions to clients while expanding our footprint in key markets,” said Mauldin & Jenkins’ Managing Partner Hanson Borders in the release. “We are excited to welcome the professionals of BGC to our firm and look forward to building on their legacy of excellence in the Greenville Community.”
For over four decades, BGC has built a strong reputation for providing audit, tax and business advisory services to clients throughout the Upstate, making it a natural fit with Mauldin & Jenkins’ service offerings and firm culture, the release stated.
BGC’s clients will benefit from an expanded suite of services, additional industry expertise and access to a broader network of professionals, the release stated.
“We are thrilled to join forces with a firm that shares our commitment to client service, integrity, and long-term relationships,” said BGC Managing Partner Peter Tiffany in the release. “This merger represents a strong cultural fit and an exciting opportunity to expand our capabilities while continuing to put our clients’ needs at the forefront of everything we do,”
This merger adds seven new Partners and 42 professionals, according to the release. The Greenville office will operate under the Mauldin & Jenkins brand.
