The next phase of a multi-family development has opened in Charleston.

Woodfield Development, one of the nation’s largest developers of Class A multi-family communities, has opened Cooper River Farms II, the next chapter of its Cooper River Farms community.

Located off and adjacent to the Daniel Island Marina, Cooper River Farms II is situated at the center of one of Charleston’s fastest-growing corridors, a news release stated. The area has seen rapid momentum in recent years, with increasing demand for housing that combines convenience, scenic surroundings and seamless access to Charleston, the release stated.

“Cooper River Farms has been one of our strongest performers in the Charleston market, and the second phase is a direct extension of that success,” said Mike Schwarz, partner at Woodfield Development, in the release. “With the second phase, we are continuing to build on that momentum, introducing new residences and amenities that enhance the overall community while reinforcing Woodfield’s long-term commitment to Charleston.”

Charleston-based Woodfield Development has delivered more than 4,300 residences across South Carolina over the past two decades, representing more than $1 billion in development, according to the release.

The new four-story, elevator-served building adds 71 studio, one- and two-bedroom residences featuring upscale finishes, upgraded appliances, and LVT flooring throughout, the release stated. Signature amenities include a dedicated workstation amenity, as well as a fourth-floor sky lounge with sweeping views, a community bar, televisions and a pool table.

The second phase builds on the 56-acre setting of Cooper River Farms, which features a saltwater pool, fitness center, nature trail, and dog park, according to the release.

Construction began in May 2024, with first deliveries received in July 2025. Leasing activity has been strong since opening with half the building already reserved, reflecting ongoing demand in the Clements Ferry corridor, the release stated.
