The South Carolina 500 is a premier recognition program celebrating the most influential professionals shaping the Palmetto State’s future.

Our editorial team has identified 500 outstanding individuals across multiple industries who are driving innovation, creating jobs, building communities, and making South Carolina a better place to live and work. From aerospace pioneers in Charleston to manufacturing leaders in the Upstate, health care heroes in Columbia to tech entrepreneurs in Greenville, these leaders represent the best of South Carolina’s entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to excellence.

This inaugural edition represents months of research, nominations from across the state, and careful selection by our editorial staff. We sought to honor not just the biggest names, but the most impactful professionals making a real difference in their fields and communities.

The South Carolina 500 will be published annually, with nominations opening each year for the following edition. Anyone can nominate deserving professionals—including themselves—who exemplify leadership and impact in their respective categories.
