Andy Clark leads Liollio Architecture as one of three principal architects guiding the firm’s third generation of leadership. Clark earned his Bachelor of Science in Design and Master of Architecture from Clemson University, where he later served as adjunct faculty.
In 2021, Clark joined Jennifer Charzewski and Jay White in taking the helm of the 31-person firm. Recently, Liollio relocated to “The Refinery” in Charleston’s Upper Peninsula, marking the leadership transition while accommodating continued growth.
Clark has served as president of both AIA South Carolina (2018) and AIA Charleston (2014). His design work includes notable projects such as the College of Charleston Simons Center for the Arts, Charleston International Airport Terminal Redevelopment and The Citadel Bastin Hall.
“We believe one of the best ways to grow our studio for the future is to align it as closely as possible with academia, fostering creative energy, innovation and an innate desire to ask questions,” Clark explained, emphasizing the firm’s teaching studio atmosphere and community-centered design.
