Melinda Davis Lux earned a Bachelor of Arts from Wellesley College, an MBA from Clemson University, a juris doctor from Yale Law School and a Master of Laws in Taxation from NYU School of Law.

Davis Lux serves as executive vice president, chief administrative officer and general counsel at United Community Bank, a community bank focused on providing legendary customer service. She leads the organization’s legal, administrative and governance functions.

Davis Lux serves on the boards of directors of the Community Foundation of Greenville and the Peace Center. She previously served on the boards of Build Carolina, Upstate International, Greenville Symphony Orchestra and Greenville First Steps.

She is a board member of the Bank Counsel Section of the Georgia Bankers Association, serves on the Government Relations Council of the Florida Bankers Association and is a fellow of the American Bar Foundation.
