Erin Vassallo has spent her entire career with ActOne Group, joining the organization in 2005 after earning her Bachelor of Science from Lander University. As divisional vice president of AppleOne Employment Services and Alls Well Healthcare Services, she leads multi-state operations across the Southeast, including South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and Pittsburgh.

Vassallo serves on the board of the National Utilities Diversity Council, promoting diversity and inclusion across the utilities industry since 2023. She joined the North Carolina Trucking Association board in 2024, focusing on workforce accessibility and safety. Her economic development work includes collaboration with the Columbia Chamber, Committee of 100, COR Columbia, Charlotte Business Alliance, Orlando Economic Partnership and Partnership 2030.

A recognized advocate for workforce innovation and AI integration, Vassallo has championed ActOne Group’s Aria Orchestration Solutions platform, which coordinates AI agents and human experts to automate business workflows. She also mentors students at North Carolina A&T State University through the WBENC Entrepreneur Incubator program.

“We are in the information-gathering business, where knowledge, relationships and action drive opportunity,” Vassallo said, reflecting on lessons learned from ActOne Group founders.

Vassallo founded the Carolina Mahjong Social Club of South Carolina in 2024, combining social connection with philanthropic fundraising for educational and community causes.

• Transformed Workforce Solutions across the Carolinas by aligning employers, education, and community partners to build sustainable talent pipelines, strengthen regional competitiveness, and elevate Hiring Made Human for clients and candidates. This work expanded access to careers, improved retention outcomes, and positioned AppleOne and All’s Well as key economic drivers in South Carolina.
• Led the deployment and adoption of Aria Orchestration across the division, becoming one of the first staffing leaders in the Southeast to operationalize agentic AI for compliance, onboarding, scheduling, and data accuracy. This orchestration eliminates manual work, increases employee capacity, and delivers measurable cost savings and service improvements for clients across healthcare, higher education, manufacturing, and public sector partners.
• Advanced innovation and community impact by championing programs such as Hope Ladders, the NC A and T Entrepreneur Incubator, This work expanded economic mobility, strengthened employer partnerships, and reinforced a people first leadership model that blends HI and AI for long term workforce success.
