Organization
Mavin Construction
Title
Managing Partner

Todd Malo’s construction career began with tools strapped to his waist, learning the business from the ground up after graduating from Furman University with a Bachelor of Science degree in geology. That hands-on foundation evolved into 25 years of managing large construction projects, leading business development and directing company operations.

A Charleston native who grew up outside Atlanta, Malo came to Greenville for college, where he met his wife, Suzanne. They have raised their family in Greenville for over 27 years. Before joining CCHM, he spent nearly 17 years with SYS Constructors, progressing from project manager to vice president of operations.

Malo’s commitment to the Upstate extends beyond construction. He has served the Julie Valentine Center, Furman Alumni Board, City of Greenville Design Review Board, Furman Parents Council, The Hill Institute for Innovation and Entrepreneurship and Poinsett Club Building & Grounds Committee. He is a graduate of Leadership Greenville Class 37, Riley Institute’s DLI program and Furman’s Liberal Arts Leadership program.

When not working, Malo enjoys snow skiing, wake surfing, hiking and wing shooting with his sons, Jack and Graham.
