Mark Wesley

Mark Wesley earned a Bachelor of Science in Systems Engineering from the United States Naval Academy and later completed an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He served as a captain and logistics officer in the United States Marine Corps before transitioning to management consulting, where he discovered his passion for building organizations rather than advising them.

Wesley now leads a security company with 590 employees worldwide. He has served as a board member of McKenney’s Inc. since 2013 and became a minority owner of the Columbia Fireflies in 2020. From 2010 to 2018, he served on the board of KIPP Metro Atlanta Schools and volunteered as a football coach, helping student-athletes earn athletic scholarships. Wesley and his wife recently established The Wesley Family Foundation.

“The best advice I’ve received is to find a company where you naturally ‘fit’ within the culture,” Wesley said. “When your values and personality align with the organization, you can succeed while being yourself.”
