With a South Carolina presence since 1981, polymer extrusion and catheter design manufacturer Zeus has named Kevin Greer plant manager of the Orangeburg facility.
According to a news release, Greer comes from 25 years of manufacturing experience, 17 of which in leadership roles for global organizations. His manufacturing career includes an 80% reduction in safety incidents, a 40% decrease in scrap rates and multi-million-dollar performance gains.
“I am honored to join Zeus and lead the Orangeburg team,” Greer said in the release. “The work we do here directly impacts patients’ lives, and I look forward to building on the plant’s strong foundation while driving innovation, safety and operational excellence.”
Greer’s position prior to Zeus was as the director of manufacturing for FN America. His other leadership experience includes Lennox International/Allied Air, Harsco Corporation, Eaton Corporation and Westinghouse Electric Company.
“Kevin brings deep experience and a proven record of operational leadership,” Josh Larson, vice president of manufacturing at Zeus, said in the release. “His ability to engage teams and deliver sustainable results will strengthen our Orangeburg operations and support Zeus’ mission of enabling innovation and enhancing lives.”
Greer has a bachelor’s degree in organizational leadership and a master’s degree in international business from Southern New Hampshire University, the release said. He also has a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
