Charleston to host tech summit featuring global leading brands

For the 13th year, Dig South Tech Summit will be in Charleston to connect global brands with regional startups. 

The summit will be on May 1-2 at the Albert Simons Center for the Arts at the College of Charleston.  

“The South thrives when founders strive,” Stanfield Gray, Dig South CEO and founder, said in a news release. “Anyone launching, growing, and scaling a company—tech executives, founders, entrepreneurs, investors—needs to be at Dig South Tech Summit 2025. It’s the best chance to build new relationships, connect with the most promising companies in the South, and do business with the people you need to meet.” 

Themed around “new frontiers in technology, business and personal growth,” the summit will discuss artificial intelligence, marketing, cybersecurity, supply chain, fintech and blockchain, hospitality and health care, according to the release.  

Some speakers at the event will include: 

  • Baron Jordan, chief product officer for Coca-Cola Services 
  • Carrie Jacquith, global head of product for Abaxx Technologies 
  • Matthew Pollard, founder and author of The Introvert’s Edge 
  • Wes Carter, president of Atlantic Packaging and founder of A New Earth Project 
  • Benjamin Wallace, New York Times best-selling author of The Mysterious Mr. Nakamoto 
  • Austin McCombs, CEO and co-founder of Gnosis Freight 
  • Jonathan Yantis, CEO and co-founder of QuicksortRX 
  • Amy Jordan, senior director of business development and operations for CNN Sports 
  • Mario Roxas, director of research and development at Thorne Research 
  • Nancy Tsai, medical director at Kandu Health

On May 2, startups will compete at Wild Pitch for the chance to advance to San Francisco’s Startup World Cup, the release said. The winner of the world cup is a $1 million investment prize. 

The event will coincide with Charleston Tech Week which runs April 24 – May 2 and features workshops, networking events and showcases, the release said.
