SCBIZ Announces 2026 Best Places to Work in South Carolina

SCBIZ has named 95 companies as the 2026 Best Places to Work in South Carolina. The awards are held in partnership with BridgeTower Media and Best Companies Group.

Best Places to Work in South Carolina identifies, recognizes and honors the best places of employment in South Carolina in three categories: small employer (15-49 employees), medium employer (50-249) and large employer (250 or more).

Best Places to Work in South Carolina is a research-driven awards program recognizing outstanding employers creating exceptional workplace experiences across South Carolina. The program evaluates participating companies through a two-part assessment process including an employer questionnaire and confidential employee engagement survey measuring workplace culture, benefits, leadership and employee satisfaction. Companies recognized as a Best Place to Work in South Carolina demonstrate a strong commitment to employee experience, workplace excellence and organizational success.

Best Companies Group managed the overall registration and survey process and also analyzed the data and used their expertise to determine the final rankings. The final rankings in each category will be announced at the Aug. 24 awards ceremony.

The 2026 Best Places to Work in South Carolina winners will be honored Aug. 24 at an 80s-themed celebration at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center, 1101 Lincoln Street in Columbia. The event begins at 5 p.m. and includes networking, dinner, drinks and time to connect with other companies across the state, followed by the awards celebration, including the Spirit Award and countdown to the Best Places to Work in South Carolina. The hashtag is #BestPlacesSC.

Attendance is limited, with sponsors receiving priority access. There are various sponsorship levels available, which include the right to use the event logo, multimedia marketing, a table to share with co-workers and guests at the event, and much more. If seats are available after the sponsorship deadline, a limited number of individual tickets will go on sale. Tables are only available with sponsorship.
