Midlands

George McCutchen and James Rogers of Wilson Kibler represented the landlord in the lease of 159,267 square feet of at 101 Enterprise Parkway in West Columbia.


Publix Super Markets Inc. said the company has leased a new store location at the northwest corner of Highway 21 and Turkey Farm Road in Blythewood. The 54,964-square-foot store will bring about 150 jobs when it opens, according to Jared Glover, Public media relations manager.

“We’re excited to bring a new location to Blythewood and to be part of this growing community,” he said in an announcement. “Our new location reflects our commitment to serving this area and delivering the experience our customers know and expect.”

He said a timeframe for the opening has not been established.

John Gregory, Bill Lamar and Tristan Lee of NAI Columbia represented the tenant in leasing approximately 72,621 square feet of industrial space at 358 Ascauga Lake Road in Graniteville.

Marcus & Millichap announced the sale of a net-leased childcare facility, occupied by Kiddie Academy, in Simpsonville for $4,725,000.

“We structured this transaction as a sale-leaseback with the tenant signing a new 15-year lease at closing,” said Sam Malato, director investments for Marcus & Millichap. “The strength of this location’s operations, combined with the area’s growth trajectory, made it a compelling long-term investment opportunity.”

Malato and Dominic Sulo, investment specialists in Marcus & Millichap’s Chicago Oak Brook office, in association with Ben Yelm, Marcus & Millichap’s South Carolina broker of record, procured the buyer, a Georgia-based private investor.

The property is situated on 1.67 acres at 321 Scuffletown Road. Built in 2007, the 12,358-square-foot childcare facility will be held long term for cash flow.

The property at 4101 S. Church St. Ext. in Roebuck, a one-acre land parcel, sold for $115,000. The buyer was Ryan T. Peterson, and the sellers, represented by Guy Harris Sr. and Guy Harris Jr. of Spencer/Hines, were Dave T. Bruce, Janice B. Schilling, Kenneth H. Bruce and Phyllis B. Ramsey.


Guy Harris Sr. and Guy Harris Jr. of Spencer/Hines represented the buyer of property at 8630 Asheville Highway in Boiling Springs. The 4,000-square-foot retail building on 0.64 acres sold for $1 million. The buyer was AHCW LLC, and the seller was B$M Investments LLC, a South Carolina limited liability company.


The property at 3230 Parris Bridge Road in Boiling Springs, a 5,000-square-foot office space, was leased to Progressive Mobility LLC. The landlord is MCD of Spartanburg LLC, represented in the deal by Guy Harris Sr. and Guy Harris Jr. of Spencer/Hines.


The property at 750 Executive Center, Suite 112, in Greenville, a 5,200-square-foot office space, was leased to Inspec Facility Group Inc. The landlord is Park 37 Owner LLC. Grayson Atkins and Robbie Romeiser of Spencer/Hines represented the tenant.
