Brooks Brothers to remain at King Street’s Victoria Center

Brooks Brothers is staying put on King Street.

Beach Commercial confirmed Brooks Brothers’ continued tenancy at Victoria Center, located on 205 King St. in downtown Charleston

“We can officially confirm that Brooks Brothers will remain a key presence at Victoria Center, further supporting King Street’s retail offerings with this long-term relationship,” Carlmichael Harrison, senior brokerage associate at Beach Commercial LLC, said in a news release. “This commitment demonstrates confidence in the Charleston market and creates a mutually beneficial partnership, supporting The Beach Co.’s long-term vision and providing stability for the retailer.”

Brooks Brothers, a luxury men’s apparel brand, first opened its King Street location in 2005 and has occupied the 7,676-square-foot retail space since its debut.

Brooks Brothers operates more than 135 retail locations, including four storefronts in South Carolina, and is owned by SPARC Group, a joint venture between Authentic Brands Group and Simon Property Group, formed to maintain the brand’s retail presence, according to the release. Additionally, Victoria Center recently underwent exterior restorations to enhance the storefront, including replacement of a curtain wall to modernize the space while maintaining its architectural character, the release said.
