Work begins on luxury home community in Daniel Island

Work has begun on a new luxury housing community in the Lowcountry.

Carolina One New Homes Custom Homes Group is representing Homes By Dickerson in The Marshes at Daniel Island, located off of Fairbanks Drive behind Governors Park, according to a news release.

Amenities at The Marshes at Daniel Island will include a pool and cabana, as well as 10 deep-water dock slips on the Wando River available for purchase, the release stated.

The community of custom-built homes showcases architectural details and HBD’s award-winning craftsmanship, the release stated. Highlighting its Designer Home Collection, the turnkey Fairbank plan features a four-bed, three-and-a-half bath, two-story layout while connecting indoor-outdoor living. Double covered porches give extra outdoor living space. The home will be ready next spring, priced from $2.3 million. Three additional homes are scheduled to break ground soon.

The Marshes at Daniel Island marks the sixth community in the Charleston market for the Raleigh, N.C.-based builder that chose to broaden its regional influence and expand to the South Carolina coast in 2018, the release stated, with over 50 years of experience.

Homes By Dickerson is building custom homes in Nexton, the master-planned community in Summerville, The Settlement at Ashley Hall in West Ashley, Enclave at Palmetto Fort, Heirloom Landing and Riverside at Carolina Park, all in Mount Pleasant.
