Prior to kickoff, fans are invited to a free Fan Fest in the BridgeWay Station plaza from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m., featuring music, family-friendly activities, and the chance to meet representatives from participating nonprofit organizations. Additionally, the Unified Team, an inclusive soccer program that unites athletes ages 13-30 with and without intellectual disabilities, will play a match in the stadium at noon.

These nonprofits provide support for individuals with disabilities, housing, hunger, mental health and other critical needs across the Upstate, and will share information about their missions and services and how fans can get involved across several vendor tables on the concourse.

Once inside the stadium, fans can expect David’s Table, a nonprofit organization serving adults with disabilities and their families, to perform the national anthem. “The Hughes Agency has spent decades investing in the Upstate, not just through business, but by strengthening nonprofits, supporting community foundations, and helping organizations create lasting impact,” Zach Prince, president of Greenville Triumph SC and Greenville Liberty SC, said in a news release. “Their commitment to making our community stronger aligns perfectly with our mission at Greenville Triumph and Greenville Liberty. Community Impact is a celebration of the people and organizations working every day to make the Upstate a better place, and we are proud to partner with an organization whose values so closely reflect our own. Together, we believe soccer can be a powerful platform to bring people together, inspire service, and create meaningful change throughout our community.”

Hughes Agency has partnered with Greenville’s nonprofit community for more than two decades, working alongside organizations that serve residents with disabilities, seniors, and children and families facing housing instability, hunger, and mental health challenges, the release said.

“Greenville’s nonprofit community works hard every day to make sure no one in the Upstate is left behind, whether that means a warm meal, a safe place to call home or support for a neighbor with a disability,” Velda Hughes, owner and CEO of Hughes Agency, said in the release. “We are proud to support Greenville Triumph SC in shining a light on these organizations and the difference they make for our neighbors across the Upstate.”

The agency has helped lead major Upstate philanthropic efforts, including the campaign to build Unity Park and raising more than $30 million for families and children in need through TD Synnex’s Share the Magic, according to the release.

“Hughes Agency has worked side by side with Greenville’s nonprofit community for decades, and we have seen firsthand the impact these organizations make in their lives,” Bill Fox, chief operating officer of Hughes Agency, said in the release. “Supporting this community is a part of who we are.”
