A budget airline will be taking off from Charleston and heading west this fall.
Ultra-low fare carrier Frontier Airlines will launch nonstop service from Charleston International Airport (CHS) to Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) this fall, according to a news releaes. The service, operating twice per week, will begin Oct. 9.
“We are thrilled to announce this new route from CHS, offering affordable travel to Dallas-Fort Worth and the dozens of destinations we serve from DFW,” said Josh Flyr, vice president of network and operations design, Frontier Airlines, in the release. “This new service is a win for both budget-savvy South Carolinians as well as tourists looking to experience Charleston’s rich history and beauty.”
