ANNOUNCING: Best Places to Work in South Carolina (RANKED)

SC Biz News, in partnership with Best Companies Group, celebrated its 2025 Best Places to Work in South Carolina honorees during a raucous rock-n-roll-themed celebration on Monday at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center.

The event featured 107 honorees in three categories. News this year was the Spirit Award, which was presented to Mount Pleasant Waterworks for embracing the rock-n-roll theme, with several employees donning wigs and rocker gear to take home the prize.

Best Places to Work in South Carolina identifies, recognizes and honors the best places of employment in South Carolina in three categories: small employer (15-99 employees), medium employer (100-249) and large employer (250 or more). To be considered, companies must be a publicly or privately held business; be a for-profit or not-for-profit business or government entity; have a facility in the state of South Carolina; have at least 15 full- or part-time employees working in South Carolina; and be in business a minimum of one year.
