Berkeley Building in Columbia sold to Lexington Health

Henry Roe and Allen Wilkerson of Colliers South Carolina represented 200 Center Point LLC in the sale of the Berkeley Building to Lexington Health LLC.

The 76,596-square-foot office building is located in Center Point Office Park at 200 Center Point Circle in Columbia. The price of the property was not divulged.

Colliers says the property is situated in Columbia’s premier office park, and features a park-like environment with walking paths and a pond.

The Berkeley Building features Class A office finishes and prime accessibility, located at the Interstate 26/20 interchange and minutes from downtown Columbia, according to a news release.

“We were in the process of negotiating several new leases for the building when discussions began in earnest with Lexington Health,” Roe said in the release. “We were able to negotiate an off-market sale and were fortunate to have the right elements in place for a mutually beneficial transaction.”

Roe and Wilkerson are vice presidents on Colliers South Carolina’s office brokerage team, specializing in corporate and landlord consulting and brokerage services as well as representation of clients in the leasing and sale of office properties.
