Greenville Drive expands broadcasts with NESN, FOX Carolina

Red Sox fans in Boston this year will have a chance to see how their future players are coming along in Greenville.

The Greenville Drive, the High-A affiliate of the Boston Red Sox, has an expanded media footprint for the 2026 season. The Drive has secured broadcasting agreements with the New England Sports Network (NESN) and Palmetto Sports & Entertainment, also known as WHNS FOX Carolina.

Leading the expansion is a partnership with NESN, the regional sports network and broadcast home of the Boston Red Sox, according to a news release. For the first time, fans across the six-state New England region and national viewers via NESN 360 will have access to the Red Sox’s rising stars.

“This is a transformative moment for the Greenville Drive,” Drive owner and Chairman Craig Brown said in the release. “By partnering with NESN, we are connecting our players directly with the Red Sox faithful in New England while giving fans a front row seat to America’s best Minor League Baseball town across the country. At the same time, our arrangement with Palmetto Sports ensures our local fans in the Upstate have strong access to Drive baseball.”

NESN will broadcast 15 Greenville Drive games during the 2026 season. The telecasts will showcase Fluor Field, which has been ranked among the top three Single-A ballparks in the nation. The stadium is a replica of Fenway Park, featuring a 30-foot Green Monster in left field, Pesky’s Pole in right field and a manual scoreboard.

Closer to home, the Drive has partnered with Palmetto Sports & Entertainment, a sports channel from WHNS FOX Carolina.

Under the agreement, Palmetto Sports Network will broadcast 57 Drive home games this season. The deal ensures Upstate South Carolina fans can follow every home run, strikeout and celebration at Fluor Field through local sports programming, the release stated.

NESN games will air on NESN or NESN Plus and be available through the NESN 360 app. Palmetto Sports broadcasts will be available through WHNS FOX Carolina and regional providers.

The Greenville Drive, a High-A South Atlantic League affiliate of the Boston Red Sox, are entering their 21st season at Fluor Field in downtown Greenville. The team has recorded seven consecutive years of league-leading attendance and is among the most affordable organizations in Minor League Baseball, according to the release.

In 2017, the Drive received the John H. Johnson President’s Award for operational excellence and community impact. The organization has also been recognized by Baseball America as the nation’s top Single-A franchise in 2012 and 2020.

To date, 132 Drive alumni have reached the major leagues, including 14 players who made their MLB debuts in 2025, according to the organization. Ten of the last 12 World Series-winning teams have included at least one former Drive player.
