A new music and event space from the Auro Hotels brand is coming to downtown Greenville.

Sertatonic, a music venue, lounge and event space, is set to open in Camperdown Plaza in Q2 2025.

Seratonic “comes alive as an exclusive yet community-centered music and event venue” and “offers a new take on event space,” a news release stated, offering an “unconventional experience.”

The newly coined name — Seratonic — is intentionally rhythmic in nature articulates the soul of the brand, which owned by Auro Hotels and is associated with its AC Hotel at Camperdown.

“We wanted to create a name, with its own meaning in a very targeted way,” says DJ Rama, CEO of Auro Hotels, in the release. “Seratonic is a melding of two forms: a chemical compound needed for happiness and the acoustical texture of sounds. The combination of these two isn’t all that Seratonic has to offer, but it is a large part of why it just feels good to be there.”

This fully equipped music venue and lounge at 315 S. Main St. will provide flexible function space for up to 250, a stage backdrop and viewing room, a production experience with green room for visiting artists or corporate board meetings and a catering and events staff serving food and beverage in the lounge or at the bar, according to the release.

Seratonic will target music-loving locals looking to catch a midweek show, while enjoying plates and cocktails, the release stated. Corporate event will also be a draw for the space, as well as being an alternative setting for weddings.
