A national retailer specializing in active and outdoor brands has revealed the location of its second South Carolina store.
The company, which describes itself as a “multichannel off-price retailer, will open a new store 140 Station Drive in Anderson on Nov. 9. The store marks the second location in the state following Sierra’s arrival in Greenville earlier in October.
As part of the TJ Maxx family of brands, Sierra calls itself the go-to retailer for discovering great finds on top active and outdoor brands for the entire family at quality savings, with a wide array of apparel, footwear and gear, according to the release.

“We are thrilled to be opening a new store in Anderson and bringing Sierra’s off-price shopping experience to local residents,” said Caitlin Kobelski, vice president and Sierra marketing director, in the release. “With cold weather and the holidays approaching, shoppers can get everything they need to get moving this winter as well as a wide selection of holiday gifts to choose from at everyday low prices. At Sierra, our goal is to equip shoppers with the top brand apparel, footwear and gear they need to participate in the day-to-day activities that make them happiest.”
To celebrate its arrival in the Anderson community, Sierra has made a $10,000 donation to non-profit organization The LOT Project, according to the release. The donation will support the organization’s mission to support individuals experiencing homelessness by providing resources and assistance to help them secure stable housing and improve their overall well-being.
