Gage Weekes leads Hollingsworth Funds, which manages $415 million in assets and has contributed more than $140 million since inception to increase economic mobility in the Greenville community. Weekes earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Richmond and a Master of Business Administration from Fordham University.

Under his leadership, the organization focuses on strengthening pathways to living wage work for those most in need. Through its real estate subsidiary, Verdae Development, Hollingsworth Funds recently announced Bolden Street District, a 90-acre development along Laurens Road. The year 2025 marks the 25th anniversary of John D. Hollingsworth Jr.’s transformational gift to Greenville.

Weekes serves as a board member for OnTrack Greenville and the Greenville Chamber of Commerce. He is a Liberty Fellow and member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.

“The real test for us isn’t whether Greenville continues to grow, but whether all residents have the chance to benefit from this growth,” Weekes said.
