THS Constructors building industrial site in Greenwood

THS Constructors Inc. has been selected by Greenwood County to construct a new industrial speculative facility.

This marks the second project of its kind in Greenwood County, reinforcing the company’s commitment to supporting South Carolina’s growing manufacturing community, THS says says.

The new 108,000-square-foot facility is designed to provide maximum flexibility for future tenants and, according to a news release, will feature:

• 36-foot clear height to accommodate modern industrial needs
• 45 skylights supplied by Velux, a company with a local manufacturing presence in Greenwood County
• Heavy mass grading to prepare two additional future building pads

Construction is scheduled to begin this month, the release said.
