WiJo Pouches opens Lexington manufacturing facility

Cohn Construction has completed a new 30,000-square-foot facility for WiJo Pouches North America Inc., establishing the company’s first production facility in North America.
The space in Lexington includes 13,000 square feet of air-locked, fully climate-controlled production areas capable of supporting up to seven pouch lines, along with a dedicated cleanroom and sanitization areas that help maintain controlled production conditions.
The project was delivered on an aggressive design and construction timeline to meet the customer’s critical production commitments, according to Cohn Construction. The accelerated schedule required close coordination between the project team and WiJo Pouches, with all efforts aligned around the company’s launch goals and operational readiness.
WiJo Pouches NA announced plans in November 2025 to establish its first North American manufacturing operation in Lexington County with a $13.5 million investment that would create 170 new jobs.
The company produces pouches for nicotine and caffeine products.
