Breeze Airways adds Charleston to Trenton nonstop flights

Breeze Airways will expand its nonstop service roster out of Charleston International Airport with the addition of flights to Trenton, N.J. The twice weekly service will operate on Thursdays and Sundays beginning Sept. 20.

The new route provides a gateway to the greater Philadelphia and Delaware regions, offering travelers another affordable and efficient way to connect with family, business opportunities and leisure destinations throughout the Northeast, according to a news release.

“Since arriving in Charleston, Breeze Airways has demonstrated a tremendous commitment to our community by continually investing in new markets and creating more travel opportunities for our passengers,” Elliott Summey, president and CEO of Charleston International Airport, said in the release. “The addition of Trenton is especially exciting because it provides a convenient option for travelers throughout the Philadelphia and Delaware regions while giving Lowcountry residents even greater access to the Northeast. Reaching 29 nonstop destinations in just a few years is a remarkable achievement and speaks to the strength of the Charleston market and our valued partnership with Breeze Airways.”

Since launching service in Charleston in 2021, Breeze has steadily expanded its footprint at CHS. The addition of Trenton represents Breeze’s 29th nonstop destination from Charleston.
