Colliers South Carolina has absorbed a team of commercial real estate professionals from a competitor’s stable, a move the company says makes it the largest commercial real estate service provider in the state.

The new team at Colliers was formerly with Lee & Associates Charleston LLC.

In South Carolina, Colliers has more than 225 professionals, 31 million square feet under management, more than $1.3 billion in construction projects under management through its partner project management company, LCK, and an annual transactional volume exceeding $1.5 billion, according to a news release from the firm.

The acquisition for an undisclosed sum adds a team with “shared values, deep local expertise and a commitment to long-term client success,” the company said in the release. Operating under the Colliers brand, the expanded organization will support continued growth while preserving the strong local market presence and trusted relationships that the team has built over the past decades, the release stated.

“This is a defining moment for our firm,” David Feild, president and CEO of Colliers South Carolina, said in the release. “This addition meaningfully advances our vision to build the most capable, client-focused commercial real estate platform in the state, and we look forward to achieving this mission together.”

The team was founded in 1999 as Anchor Commercial by Bob Nuttall, Milton Thomas and Reid Davis.

“Over the past 26 years, we’ve built something we’re incredibly proud of, a firm that puts clients first and invests in its people and community,” said Nuttall, a founding principal of the Charleston team. “Joining forces with Colliers allows us to build on that foundation and amplify it across South Carolina. Our clients will continue working with the same trusted team, now supported by expanded resources and statewide expertise. This is the next chapter in our story, and we couldn’t be more optimistic about where we’re headed together.”

Nuttall, Thomas and Davis will remain actively involved with the business in managing director roles.

Effective immediately, the team of 50 real estate professionals will transition into corresponding roles at Colliers South Carolina.
Colliers has appointed Wade Allen as broker-in-charge and market president, overseeing Charleston operations. A four-decade veteran of the commercial real estate industry, Allen brings extensive experience across corporate and service-provider environments, the release said.

“This transaction represents an opportunity to position ourselves strategically for both immediate impact and long-term growth,” Allen said in the release. “By bringing together our Charleston-based expertise with Colliers’ established leadership in Columbia, Greenville and Spartanburg, we’re creating something truly exceptional, a firm with genuine statewide market dominance and the resources to serve our clients at the highest level.”
