The next big chunk of Isuzu Truck North America employees will be on the payroll by the end of the year.
With the company’s upfit to a million-square-foot manufacturing facility in Greenville underway, HTI is hosting a hiring event July 8 at the Greenville Technical College Center for Manufacturing Innovation, focused on securing 150 employees by the end of the year.
Isuzu plans to hire through 2026 across production, maintenance, quality and logistics functions as operations continue to expand, according to HTI, the exclusive talent management partner for the automaker. Hiring efforts are expected to continue through 2027.
Isuzu broke ground on the project in October 2025, saying then it planned to create 700 jobs at the site on 200 acres of land on Augusta Road. When completed, the $280 million plant will produce the company’s N-Series Gas, N-Series Electric and F-Series Diesel trucks, and will have a production capacity of 50,000 units annually.
The upcoming hiring event will provide candidates with an opportunity to learn more about Isuzu Truck North America, explore current openings, and engage with hiring representatives regarding available positions and future opportunities, according to a news release.
The Center for Manufacturing Innovation is at 575 Millennium Blvd. in Greenville. Interested candidates can see more about the available jobs at www.htijobs.com/isuzu.
Operations are expected to begin in 2027.
