Prisma Health has appointed Steve LeBlond as chief information officer and digital officer.

In that role, LeBlond will lead the organization’s technology strategy, focusing on digital transformation, artificial intelligence adoption and innovation to enhance patient care and operational excellence.
LeBlond has more than two decades of experience in health care technology leadership, including executive roles at Sutter Health and Ochsner Health. He has a proven track record of aligning technology investments with enterprise objectives, improving operational resilience and advancing patient safety, according to a news release from Prisma Health. At Sutter Health, he served as vice president and chief operating officer for the digital division, and at Ochsner Health, he directed large-scale IT transformations, Epic EHR implementations and enterprise cybersecurity programs.
“Technology is central to delivering exceptional care and improving patient outcomes,” Clarence Sevillan, Prisma Health chief operating officer, said in the release. “Steve’s leadership and experience in digital innovation will help us stay at the forefront of healthcare technology so that our patients receive the very best care.”
LeBlond’s career began after military service, progressing through telecommunications and networking roles with AT&T in San Francisco. LeBlond holds an MBA from the State University of New York and professional certifications including PMP, CISSP and CRISC. He is also an Amazon Web Services — Health Management Academy Technology Fellow, focusing on analytics, AI and health care digital innovation.
