Headquartered in Charleston, the U.S. Navy‘s Naval Information Warfare Center Atlantic has awarded a $49 million contact to Sev1Tech, an information technology, engineering, program management, C5ISR and cybersecurity systems support service.
The contract will be under SeaPort NxG, an electronic procurement portal, and provide system support for NIWC Atlantic’s Expeditionary Enterprise Systems and Services division, according to a news release.
“Sev1Tech has proudly supported NIWC for over 20 years with reliable, mission-ready solutions,” Joe Re, Sev1Tech Maritime Division general manager, said in the release. “The cyber-secure systems and networks we support will enable naval information warfare superiority and drive modernization of enterprise infrastructure, cloud architectures and application migration across expeditionary systems and services.”
According to the release, Sev1Tech’s capabilities are expected to enhance NIWC Atlantic’s warfighter operational readiness as they provide warfare solutions and safeguard national security.
The contract includes one base year with the option for four more years and will expand Sev1Tech’s reach in Charleston, according to the release.
