Blackstream opens luxury office near Lake Keowee

Blackstream Christie’s International Real Estate kicked off May by opening an office in Six Mile to anchor its luxury real estate brokerage services for the region around lakes Keowee and Jocassee.

Calling it Blackstream by the Lake, the office is in Unit D at 3314 Walhalla Highway, near the Keowee shoreline.

The location is intended to position the company to meet an increasing demand for luxury properties surrounding the lakes, Blackstream said in a news release. The office also will serve communities around Lake Hartwell and the communities around Sunset, Seneca, Six Mile, Salem, Anderson, Chapin, Walhalla and Townville.

Led by agent Lissa Lipsey, the offices includes a team of eight high-producing agents with deep expertise in the lakes and upscale markets, the release stated. Lipsey, also with Blackstream’s Greenville office, is certified with the Institute for Luxury Home Marketing and is a member of the Homebuilders Association, Professional Women in Building and the Women’s Council of Realtors Upstate SC. She has more than $750 million in closed real estate sales.

Blackstream at the Lake joins the company’s network of strategically located offices across South Carolina, including Greenville, the Lowcountry regions of Bluffton and Hilton Head, and in Landrum and the Tryon, N.C., region of the foothills.
