Evolve, a new wellness studio focused on contrast therapy and intentional recovery, is moving into The Commons in Greenville’s Unity Park.

Founded by longtime friends Patrick Brown and Jessica Clohessy, the 3,300-square-foot studio is located in space adjacent to the restaurants at The Commons and will introduce a full range of services designed to support both physical and mental well-being, according to a news release.

“We’ve designed Evolve to be both approachable and restorative,” Clohessy said in a news release. “It’s a place where individuals can pause, reconnect and engage in practices that support long-term well-being — physically, mentally and emotionally. We’re proud to bring this concept to life at The Commons and to be part of such a dynamic and community-focused destination.”

Evolve will provide a guided contrast therapy experience with trained staff, featuring sessions that often alternate between 15-minute sauna visits and three- to five-minute cold plunges, the release said. The offerings include a steam room, red light therapy and massage services.

The studio will feature a rotating schedule of group classes, ranging from
endurance, strength and mobility sessions to breathwork and recovery practices. The studio will have a selection of health-focused, non-alcoholic beverages.

“We founded Evolve on the belief that wellness should be intentional and community-driven,” Brown said in the release. “We recognized a need for spaces that support not just physical performance, but also meaningful recovery and connection. Our goal is to create an environment that reflects and reinforces those values.”

The Commons recently celebrated the opening of the second phase of its food hall and continues to expand with a mix of wellness, retail and office tenants. Evolve joins a diverse group of local businesses at The Commons.

“The addition of Evolve represents the next step in The Commons’ continued growth as a mixed-use destination,” Barnes Connell, managing director at Aston, owner of The Commons, said in the release. “We’re excited to support a locally founded concept that introduces something new to the tenant mix and strengthens the connection between wellness, community and place.”

Construction is underway, with the studio expected to open later this summer, the release said.

In the Greenville area, Aston also owns North Hills Shopping Center, Verdae Village, McBee Station, McDaniel Village and Powdersville Plaza.
