‘s Mary Winter Teaster and Sydney Lanham represented owner in the leasing of 2222 Sumter St. in Columbia to River Church. The building is a 4,500-square-foot modernized flex space and was formerly home to NOMA Warehouse.

Positioned near Bull Street, Main Street and downtown Columbia, the Cottontown neighborhood within the NOMA District has become the hub for eclectic, locally owned businesses and a dining destination for many Columbia residents, according to a Colliers news release.

River Church was founded in 2019 and is pastored by Greg DeMare. The church currently gathers at 300 Senate St. but will move to its new space late this spring.
“Mary Winter and I were pleased to represent Cason Development on the landlord side in the successful leasing of 2222 Sumter St,” Lanham said in the release. “This transaction reflects the continued growth of the NOMA district, and we are excited to welcome River Church to the building in Spring 2026. We also appreciated the opportunity to work with Trinity Partners on the tenant side to bring this deal to fruition.”
