Shannon McNulty opens REMAX Reliable Realty

A Columbia-area real estate team leader has departed Coldwell Banker to launch her own REMAX franchise.

After spending the past three years leading The McNulty Team under the Coldwell Banker brand, Shannon McNulty has officially opened REMAX Reliable Realty. The new brokerage is based in Blythewood and serves clients throughout Columbia and the surrounding communities, according to a news release.

McNulty was previously the top individual agent in her office before advancing to team leader, the news release stated.

“One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is that communication is absolutely vital in real estate,” McNulty said in a REMAX newsletter. “It’s the glue that holds the entire process together, and it needs to be both professional and reliable. That commitment to reliability is a big part of why I named my brokerage REMAX Reliable Realty.”

McNulty was contemplating striking out on her own and, after attending a broker mastermind group with Laura Reid, broker/owner of REMAX Purpose Driven in Lexington, she felt ready to take the next step.
