Terracon is a national consulting engineering firm comprised of engineers, scientists, architects, facilities experts and field professionals.
Drawing on more than 28 years of experience in environmental services, Partin has completed hundreds of phase I and phase II environmental site assessments for a variety of public and private clients in conjunction with lender liability transactions, according to a news release. He has managed and performed numerous asbestos, lead and mold assessments associated with industrial, commercial and military housing sites throughout the state. Partin is a certified hazardous materials manager, holds many certifications and is active in several professional organizations.

Major clients include the South Carolina Department of Transportation, University of South Carolina, Scout Motors, Dominion, Duke Energy, Richland County, Lexington County and the city of Columbia.
A recent project is the environmental assessment, geotechnical engineering and materials testing of the 2222 Main View Apartments under construction in downtown Columbia. This project will transform a former automotive dealership into multifamily housing in Columbia’s thriving Main Street District, the release stated.
Terracon is celebrating its 60th anniversary this year. Terracon today has more than 7,000 employees in 180 offices throughout the United States and is ranked among the top 20 in Engineering News-Record’s Top 500 Design Firms.
