Lee & Associates names Brian Young executive vice president

Lee & Associates Greenville/Spartanburg has made Brian Young the firm’s executive vice president and principal.

Young brings more than 28 years of commercial real estate experience specializing in industrial and office brokerage, investment sales, leasing and advisory services, according to a Lee & Associates announcement. Throughout his career, he has completed billions in transaction volume, representing institutional owners, investors, developers, landlords, tenants and corporate users across the Upstate and nationwide.

Prior to joining Lee & Associates, Young founded Sojourner Properties after serving in leadership roles with Cushman & Wakefield and Thalhimer, where he established and led the firm’s Greenville office before expanding operations into Columbia, according to a news release. His experience includes advising institutional clients, leading brokerage teams and executing complex industrial, office, land and investment transactions.

As executive vice president/principal, Young will help expand the firm’s industrial and office brokerage platform while growing its investment services practice. He will continue providing strategic, client-focused solutions throughout the Upstate and Southeast, while bringing decades of market expertise, longstanding client relationships, and an entrepreneurial approach that further strengthens Lee & Associates’ ability to deliver exceptional results.

Throughout his career, Young has built long-standing relationships with many of the industry’s leading developers, including Becknell Industrial, the release stated.

A graduate of the University of South Carolina with degrees in real estate and marketing, Young holds both the SIOR and CCIM designations, two of the commercial real estate industry’s most respected professional credentials.
