Soccer 5 to open new headquarters in North Charleston

Soccer 5, an operator of small-sided soccer center in Florida, is establishing a new corporate headquarters in North Charleston. 

The soccer company operates 30 fields and six parks across Florida, with a plan for 35 fields at the end of the year, according to a news release. The Charleston facility is scheduled to open in December.  

“Charleston represents an incredible opportunity for Soccer 5,” Scott Georgeson, president of Soccer 5, said in the release. “The region’s vibrant community, passionate sports culture, and tremendous growth made it the perfect location to serve the entire Charleston area. We’re excited to bring our proven model of accessible, high-quality soccer facilities to families and players of all ages and abilities in this dynamic market.” 

According to the release, the Soccer 5 facility will be located at 3297 Pacific Ave. and will have a small-sided indoor field with an outdoor expansion planned for a future phase.  

The brand recently made an equity deal in partnership with Wonder Franchises, a franchise and multi-site business investor, prior to the expansion to Charleston, according to the release.

This was a multi-year process to identify the perfect site, and we’re thrilled to have secured this location for Soccer 5’s expansion.” 

David Newman of eXp Commercial and Walter Reid of Harbor Commercial Partners represented the tenant in the transaction, according to the release. CCTRE’s Rex Riley and Jeff Nickol represented the landlord.
