Trison Wells, a contract manufacturing company, is expanding its operations in Colleton County. The company’s $3.37 million investment will create 30 new jobs.
The company manufactures a variety of private-label cleaning products for laundry, household, personal, pet and car care.
“We are very excited and proud of this manufacturing expansion to our Walterboro facility, bringing manufacturing jobs to the region and supporting the U.S. consumer goods market,” Trison Wells General Manager Jonathan Johnson said in a news release. “With the local talent and the support of Colleton County through the economic alliance, we will make this project a success.”
As part of its expansion, Trison Wells will add a state-of-the-art, liquid-fill production line to its existing facility, located at 1756 Industrial Road in Walterboro, according to the company.
“Trison Wells makes high-quality cleaning products for world-renowned brands right here in Colleton County,” Colleton County Council Chairman Scott Biering said in the release. “Their expansion means more local job opportunities for our workforce and the families it supports. We are delighted to see Trison Wells’ continued success at their Walterboro plant and look forward to the future.”
The company says the expansion will significantly increase its annual production capacity. Operations are already online.
