Harrison Capital Advisors launches in Columbia

Veteran Columbia real estate professionals James C. Harrison III and Coleman Davis have launched Harrison Capital Advisors LLC, a commercial investment real estate advisory firm dedicated exclusively to investment real estate.

The firm, which the founders say is the first of its kind in Columbia, focuses on representing buyers and sellers in the acquisition, disposition and advisory of income-producing commercial assets throughout South Carolina and the greater Carolinas region.

Managing Partner Harrison, who also serves as broker-in-charge, and Davis have a combined 42 years of commercial real estate experience and have handled more than $850 million in assets throughout their careers, according to a news release. The firm says this experience positions Harrison Capital Advisors to provide clients with market perspective, transaction expertise and investment insight.

Harrison Capital Advisors focuses on retail, office and industrial single-tenant triple-net leases and multi-tenant assets, including shopping centers and strip retail centers. The firm also assists clients with property placement for 1031 exchanges, investment property underwriting and debt placement.

Harrison brings 29 years of commercial real estate experience to the firm. He holds the Certified Commercial Investment Member designation and is a former South Carolina CCIM chapter president. His experience includes retail, office, industrial and multifamily investment properties, and he will lead the firm’s investment sales practice.

Davis, partner and senior investment real estate advisor, brings 12 years of commercial real estate experience. The firm says his background in commercial investment sales and knowledge of the Carolinas market complement its capabilities and strengthen its ability to serve clients.
