Upstate

Commercial real estate firm Binswanger handled a deal that could bring the hum back to one shuttered Spartanburg plant.

Shaun Kirchin of Binswanger represented the seller, Kohler, in the sale of their 905,000-square-foot industrial plant at 4000 S. Pine St. in Spartanburg.

Kohler Co., known for manufacturing kitchen and bath products, announced in January 2024 that  it would close one of its older and smaller facilities in Spartanburg, potentially affecting 72 employees as it consolidated North American plastics operations.


Taylor Allen and Bailey Tollison of Colliers South Carolina represented the buyer in the purchase of 40,000 square feet of office space at 11 Brendan Way in Greenville.


Taylor Allen and Bailey Tollison of represented the ownership in the sale of 18,208 square feet of office space at 319 Pelham Road in Greenville.


Taylor Allen and Bailey Tollison of Colliers South Carolina represented the tenant, Heights Finance, in the lease of 12,856 square feet of office space at 101 N. Main St. in Greenville.


Scott Burgess, Lance Byars and Josh Seibert of Colliers South Carolina represented the landlord, PEG Properties, in the lease of 1,560 square feet of retail space at 810 E. Main St. in Laurens.


Taylor Allen and Bailey Tollison of Colliers South Carolina represented the owner, DOE Real Estate, in a transaction for 7,436 square feet of medical office space at 317 Tanner Road in Greenville with Be Bold.


John Ruff of McCoy Wright Commercial Real Estate represented the buyer, Rich Bennett, in the sale of 86.82 acres of land at 160 Old Denver Road in Anderson.


Geoff Beans, Jake Scott, and Jason Richards of NAI Earle Furman represented the buyer, Commissioners of Public Works of the city of Greenville, in the purchase of 0.46 acres of land located at 300 Birnie St. in Greenville.


Robert Schmidt, Peter Couchell and Lawrence Myers of Furman Capital Advisors, the investment division of NAI Earle Furman, represented the seller in the sale of an 8,200 square feet of multi-tenant retail building located at 2708 Clemson Road in Columbia.


Dallas Wright of Huff Creek Properties, the timber and recreational land division of NAI Earle Furman, represented the seller, Bauer & Bauer LLC, in the sale of 73 acres of land on Lowcountry Drive in Ridgeland to Hitching Post Properties LLC.


Keith Jones, McNeil Epps and Will Williamson of NAI Earle Furman represented the landlord in leasing 1,637 square feet of office space located in Suite 1109 at 301 N. Main St. in Greenville to South Carolina Charities Inc.


Hunter Garrett, John Staunton and Josh Kenyon of NAI Earle Furman represented the landlord, 1704 Poplar Drive LLC, in a lease expansion of 51,596 square feet of industrial space at 1704 Poplar Drive in Greer to Aran USA Inc.


Tom McMeekin, Josh Tew, Monty Todd and Anna Spiers of Pintail represented the seller, RACAP Properties LLC, in the purchase of a 2,872-square-foot office space at 2505 River Road in Piedmont. The buyer was Arrowhead Investments LLC.

David Sigmon and Matt Vanvick of Pintail represented the tenant, Anna Goldston, doing business as Greenville Family Smiles, in the lease of a 3,000-square-foot medical space at 6 Parkins Mill Road in Greenville from the Landlord, Medical Properties Group LLC.


Evan Chudyk of Pintail represented the tenant, Senior Care Solutions and Services, in the lease of a 790-square-foot office space at 506 Pettigru St. in Greenville from the landlord, Nelly M Hecker.


Palmer Thompson of Spencer/Hines Properties represented the buyer, Hector Martinez-Hernandez, in the purchase of 2.6 acres of land at 511-513 Shiloh Road in Piedmont for $115,000. The seller was Satoshi M. Powell and Margaret Susan Powell.


Andy Hayes of Spencer/Hines Properties represented the seller of 2004 E. Blackstock Road in Roebuck. The 22,204 square feet of industrial space on about 2.5 acres was sold for $315,000.  Sparta Motors LLC bought the property from Joel C. Griffin, trustee of the Joe C. Griffin Trust Agreement. Michael Tanbonliong represented the buyer.


Midlands

Tyler Teal of Colliers represented Rack & Storage Solutions in the leasing of 8,000 square feet of industrial space at 155 Corporate Lane in Columbia.


Tyler Teal of Colliers represented Nextus in the leasing of 5,400 square feet of industrial space at 297 Industrial Drive in Lexington.


Tyler Teal of Colliers represented Burrisfb Company LLC in the lease of 4,210 square feet of industrial space at 4046 Fernandina Road in Columbia to KCI Technologies.


Tombo Milliken, Tom Milliken and Nelson Weston of NAI Columbia sold 1350 Blackberry Road in Gadsden. The 122.27-acre recreational property sold for $665,500.


John Gregory, Bill Lamar and Tristan Lee of NAI Columbia sold 121 N. Shorecrest Road in Columbia. The 19,600-square-foot industrial property sold for $1,600,000.


Braden Shockley, Roger Winn, Rob Lapin, Nick Stomski, Jake Nidiffer and Ryan Causey of Trinity Partners represented the landlord in the leasing of a 2,729-square-foot retail space at 3145 Carlisle St. in Columbia.


Roger Winn, Braden Shockley and Will McGregor of Trinity Partners represented the landlord in the leasing of a 1,841-square-foot office space at 140 Stoneridge Drive in Columbia.


Macon Lovelace of Trinity Partners represented the landlord in the leasing of a 17,500-square-foot industrial building at 2468 Northwest 71st Place in Gainesville, Fla.

Todd Garrett, Tradd Varner and Crawford Riddle of Harbor Commercial Partners represented the tenant, Art of Boxing USA LLC, in the lease of 2,633 square feet of industrial space in  Suite 400 at 3567 Meeting St. in North Charleston from RCB Development.


Vitré Ravenel Stephens of Harbor Commercial Partners represented the landlord, MJM 430 LLC, in the lease of 915 square feet of office space at 430 N. Hanover St. in Charleston to Regas Interiors LLC. Brooke Eyrich of JLL represented the tenant.
