In 1976, Parker’s Kitchen founder Greg Parker opened his first convenience store in Midway, Ga., after graduating from the University of Georgia. For the first 3.5 years, he did everything himself — cooked the food, pumped the gas, managed the cash register, etc. He gained first-hand knowledge of every aspect of the business and decided to elevate the overall experience for convenience store customers. By prioritizing safety, quality and cleanliness, he earned their trust and their business.
Three family members are involved with Parker’s Kitchen. Founder Greg Parker currently serves as Executive Chairman. Greg’s daughter, Olivia Parker, serves as the company’s Communications and Outreach Manager, coordinating charitable giving, community outreach and internal communications. Greg’s son, Bennett Parker, is a Category Manager for Parker’s Kitchen.
Parker’s Kitchen is focused on strategic growth and is currently expanding its corporate footprint to new markets, including Columbia and Myrtle Beach. With plans to open 17 new stores in 2026, Parker’s Kitchen plans to maximize its impact on the communities it serves by increasing the Parker’s Community Fund to $100 million, taking charitable giving to new heights across the region.
