What are you most looking forward to in your new position?

What excites me most is the chance to make a tangible impact. I enjoy solving problems and seeing how my work contributes to bigger-picture goals. I’m looking forward to being part of projects where I can see the difference I make.

What is the biggest challenge facing your industry right now?

One of the toughest challenges is sustaining a genuine sense of community while scaling. People come to coworking spaces not just for a desk, but for connection and collaboration. As spaces grow, keeping that intimacy and inclusivity intact becomes harder, and requires intentional events, thoughtful layout, and proactive community management.

What was your first job, and what did you learn from it?

My first job was at Snip-its Salon as a party planner, where I organized themed birthday parties primarily for children. It was a fast-paced environment that taught me how to scale my customer service approach based on who I was interacting with — whether it was engaging a shy child, reassuring a parent, or coordinating with a grandparent. I learned how to read the room quickly, communicate with empathy, and be personable no matter the setting. That early experience really shaped my ability to connect with people and adapt my approach in any environment.

What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever heard?

At the end of the day, the day must end.” It reminded me that no matter how urgent things feel, there’s a limit to what can be done in a day — and that’s okay. As a leader, it’s helped me prioritize what really matters, avoid burnout, and encourage my team to focus on progress over perfection. Rest and perspective are just as important as action.

What is something most people would be surprised to know about you?

I love to travel and have visited over 15 different countries and counting!
